Música del Sol: Celebrating the Culture of Latin America & the Caribbean
All 140 members of the Wilmington Children’s Chorus perform classical, folk and popular music in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Featuring mariachi and other traditional music as well as works by Bob Marley, Marc Anthony, Michael Mendoza, and MacArthur Genius Grant winner, Francisco J. Núñez. The chorus is joined by several professional musicians including a full band with guitar, bass, percussion and trumpet, as well as organist and pianist, David Christopher.
